Urvish holds a Doctorate in Medicine and Master of Public Health in Biostatistics with practicum training in outcome research and clinical trial management. His area of interest is to execute outcomes research, survival studies and clinical trials in Neurology, Neuroepidemiology, and Translational Medicine. He has developed the expertise to review articles and meta-analysis using Review Manager, analyzing clinical data from hospital registries and the national databases. With the application of clinical knowledge into research, his team has successfully completed more than 30 projects. Under his leadership, many of the projects have been awarded prestigious AHA Junior Investigator Award, AHA Stroke Minority Travel Grant, ANA Travel Awards, ISMMS Graduate School Travel Award, and Young Investigator Award in Clinical Cardiology and has been recognized by media like Practice Update and Medscape.
